The Framer Partner program is an affiliate program open to all web designers, developers and any content creators that are using Framer and want to help spread the word about the platform and what it has to offer.
Why should I become a Framer Partner?
In exchange for promoting the platform, all partners earn 50% of every subscription they bring in to Framer. For example, if a user creates a Framer account after clicking on your referral link and ends up buying one of the paid plans, you’ll then receive 50% of what they’re going to pay for the first year.
This could happen in one payment (if the user has paid for a yearly subscription) or across 12 payments (if the user selects a monthly subscription).
So if you’re creating content around website design and are already using Framer in your workflow then it would make a lot of sense for you to join the program.
How to become a Framer Partner?
It’s very simple, just head over to the Framer website and enter all your information to submit your application.
Once your application is accepted you’ll be given access to your Partner dashboard. In this dashboard you’ll be able to track clicks, see how many referrals you’ve driven and how much commission you’ve earned so far.
You will be asked to create a Partner ID, which you’ll need to use to tag all the links you share so Framer can track which referrals you’ve made. There are different ways to tag website links and Remix links so check out our Partner Link Generator to make sure all your links are tagged correctly.
Also, if you’re part of the Framer community you’ll get access to the Partner channel where you can interact with other partners.
How to promote Framer as a Partner?
Once you are a Framer partner there are many ways you can promote the platform. We’ll be listing some of the most common ways you can create content around Framer and earn commissions via the affiliate program.
1. Create and sell templates
This option is the best for website designers and developers wanting to earn an extra income by creating and selling website templates.
Whether your template is paid or free, make sure to share your template with your customers by using your unique referral link. If your customers end up subscribing to a paid plan after purchasing your template you’ll then receive 50% of their subscriptions for a year.
2. Client work
If you’re an agency building Framer website for your client then you should definitely think about joining the Partner program.
As with templates, when you deliver a Framer website to your client you can also use your referral link. And with clients you know for sure that they will end up subscribing to a paid plan as they’ll want to be able to add their custom domain. So this an easy way to get extra income on top of the fee for which you built the website.
3. Content creators
If you’re a content creator creating content around web design on any social platforms like X and YouTube then you should also thing about joining the Partner program.
This content could include tutorials in the shape of YouTube videos, blog posts or even threads on X depending on which platforms your audience is.
As long as your links are tagged correctly with your Partner ID you’ll receive 50% of any paid subscription you bring in to Framer.
